The Warren County Farmers’ Fair is more than an agricultural fair. It boasts a hot air balloon festival, and a variety of shows and competitions you don’t often find in today’s world of digital entertainment. From demolition derbies and a rodeo, to fry pan throwing and rubber chicken tosses, the Fair provides a great variety of entertainment for all! Located in Harmony Township, NJ – just a few minutes north of Phillipsburg and minutes off Rt. 78 – the Fair runs from Saturday, July 25 to Saturday, August 1, 2026.
Join us for a Fireworks celebration on Sunday night, July 26, at dusk (rain date Monday). The fireworks show in celebration of our nation’s 250 years of freedom is provided courtesy of the Warren County Board of County Commissioners.
The Fair itself celebrates 88 years of affordable family fun. Admission is only $10 for an adult, and $5 for children ages 6 through 12, with 5 and under being free, as well as free parking. Advance admission tickets are available online at a discount.
Advance Main Arena event tickets for the Bullride Mania Rodeo (first Saturday), Demolition Derbies (Sunday & Friday), and Truck Pull (Thursday) are available by mail order through July 15. Tickets for these events, plus the Stock/Hot Stock Tractor Pulls and the new Action Sports show, are also available at the Fairgrounds during regular hours and on Friday, July 24, from 9am–6pm.
Fair admission includes access to the balloon festival. It’s like two events for the price of one. If you’ve never been to a balloon festival, the balloons come out in the evening, with a 6:30 pm launch time. Full flight balloon rides are available and may be scheduled in advance to ensure your spot. Email fly@balloonfestnj.com to inquire about pricing and to reserve. Tethered rides are available each evening on a first-come, first-served basis, ranging from $20-$30 per person. The tentative start time is around 5 pm, weather conditions permitting. Patience is appreciated for these popular rides – especially for little ones – as passenger safety comes first.
You don’t have to just be a spectator. Check out the Contest Rules & Regs page online. Sign your team up for a quoits tournament, hop in your hot rod and enter your car in the Belvidere FFA Alumni & Supporters Car, Truck & Tractor show, on opening day Saturday. Do you sew, craft, knit, crochet, bake, take awesome photos, paint, preserve foods, grow flowers, herbs, fruits or vegetables? Then check out the Home & Garden building contests and plan your entries today. Many contests are revamped and expanded in an effort to enhance the Home & Garden building displays.
If you ride horses, check out the variety of equestrian events to enter. Barrel racing takes place on opening day Saturday. The Open English, Western, Pleasure & Speed show is on Sunday. Casey’s Equestrian Center’s Schooling Show Series final of a 3-show series is at the Fairgrounds on closing day Saturday.
Maybe all that’s not your speed? If speed, skill and power are your thing, check out our Main Arena power events. Events include demolition derbies, rodeo, truck and tractor pulls, ranging from garden tractors to larger engine tractors. New this year on closing day Saturday, all ages can enjoy the Action Sports Show – a thrilling experience showcasing the talents of some of the most skilled riders in the world, featuring BMX, FMX & MC riders.
Grab a beer in the Czig Meister beer garden and listen to some of our great local entertainers. The beer garden is open during Fair hours, with last call at 9:30 pm. Performances run from 6-9 pm. On Saturday, Jimmy Pink, a prominent solo acoustic and full-band act, performs. On Thursday night, experience Jesse Bardwell’s multi-instrumentalist and songwriting talent, featuring traditional country, rock, bluegrass and Americana sounds, joined by the Noble Brother Trio. On Friday night, enjoy the hardworking and deep-thinking Factory Western, Gothic Americana, Steampunk, Folk Rock band – The Adventures of Matte Black.
On stage on opening day Saturday, you can’t get more local than the Harmony Garage Band playing from 5–8 pm. Covering new rock, classic rock, and country, playing a variety of fiddle-infused hits with great vocal harmonies, dynamic drumming, rhythmic bass lines, and classic guitar riffs. On Sunday night, from 5–8 pm and back by popular demand, is country band Waitin’ On Sundown. New to the event is Zaire Band, on Wednesday from 5–7 pm, playing great songs highlighting a strong 3-part harmonies. Another favorite returns: Circle Round the Sun performs on Thursday, from 4–6 pm. Enjoy the variety of Reel to Real Country Band on Friday from 5–8 pm. A typical show takes listeners on a musical trip from today’s country to smooth classic ballads to Oldies from the 50’s thru the 80’s and even Classic and Southern Rock! TimeWhys is back again on closing night Saturday, from 6–9 pm to turn on the 60s, 70s and beyond!
Got kids? Be sure to check out the Kids’ Corral, where you find crafts, entertainment, activities and more. Your kids can enter contests and win tickets to our very own local, iconic amusement park, Land of Make Believe. Join the Foam party on opening day Saturday – be sure to bring a towel (required to participate) and a change of clothes. All activities and shows are free of charge for fairgoers and their children.
Sunday, July 26 is Veteran’s Day with free admission for Veterans and active duty military. Monday, July 27 is Seniors Day, with free admission when you show your Medicare card. Stop by a little early and enjoy the free Senior Expo, from 1:30-4 pm, on the dance floor. Seniors can participate in the Senior Chicken in the Pan Toss at 2:30 pm.
Of course it wouldn’t be a county fair without the traditional horse shows, 4-H and FFA exhibits and contests, an antique tractor show, carnival rides and some good old funnel cake, roasted corn on the cob, fresh squeezed lemonade and homemade pies – about 12 varieties to pick from and an a la mode option! Support some great, local non-profits.
Enjoy Carnival Rides specials throughout the week. Every day you can ride all the rides with a wristband special of $35. Purchase single tickets for $2 each (rides require different numbers of tickets) or save on a Family Pack of 20 tickets for $30 or a Super Saver of 45 tickets $60.
The Traditional Arts Expo showcases some fabulous quilting, weaving, sewing, amigurumi and other fiber arts. Be sure to check out the Traditional Arts building and their wonderland of quilts on display on the south end of the Fairgrounds.
This year features some programming for the young ones, like embroidery, cross stitch, quilting, and coloring items on cloth with their names on it, to be made into a quilt to display in 2027.
