A festival featuring some flying fun with balloon launches and drone demonstrations, as well as local artisans and crafters at Warren County Community College June 3-6. (Hurricane Date: Thursday June 10 through June 13)
A four-day festival, Thursday, June 3 - Sunday, June 6, hosted by Warren County Community College, will feature up to twenty hot air balloons launching in the evenings at 6:30 pm, and tethered rides as weather permits. The College will showcase their extensive drone program with demonstrations at the drone port. In addition there will be an Arts & Crafts Show, food trucks and musical entertainment from 2pm to 9pm.

Thursday is Play Day!
World-renowned artist, Ryan Paul Simmons, will be on site working with kids on a big canvas, helping them create a cooperative masterpiece to be auctioned off at a later date.
Have Huey Will Travel
The Bell Helicopter "Huey", a rare survivor of the Vietnam War, will be at the festival on Thursday, from 2 - 7:30pm. Kids can get inside, pretend they are piloting, and learn the story of this historic aircraft.
Proceeds from the event help fund the Fred T. Grotenhuis Veterans Community Center, Fred Grotenhuis Scholarships, and WCCC Foundation. Grotenhuis, who was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, was the inspiration for the Warren County Balloon Festivals.
Warren County Community College has plenty of lawn to spread out and social distance. Pets, food and alcoholic beverages are prohibited (with the exception of snacks & beverages for small children). Feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs, small games like quoits and corn hole. COVID-19 rules issued by the State must be followed.
