Crafts in the Country

Wilbur's Country Store has been hosting craft fairs for 36 years. This weekend, July 9-10, craftspeople and artists from four states will set up their wares in a real country setting, on the lawn behind Wilbur's barn-style complex. Queen Bees

Over 2,500 handmade quilts are displayed at America’s largest quilt sale at the Kutztown Festival.
The Kutztown Folk Festival continues through Sunday, July 10, and features the largest exhibition and sale of authentic Pennsylvania Dutch quilts in the country. But, of course, there's much more. One of America's most celebrated festivals, the Kutztown Festival is the oldest continuing folklife event in the nation, featuring folk art and crafts by 200 craftsmen, folklore and folklife programs, five stages of continuous entertainment, music, a wide array of children's activities, and the best Pennsylvania Dutch food found anywhere. Islands of the Delaware are markers for the miles traversed on a float down the river, and for centuries of human history along its banks.
