The Skylands Region's largest collection of outlet stores is found at Liberty Village Premium Outlets in historic Flemington. In the 1960s and 1970s, Liberty Village was a popular artisans' village where visitors came to observe weavers, cabinet makers, blacksmiths and glass blowers. In 1981, Liberty Village became the country's very first outlet village, where many designers and manufacturers opened their first outlet stores.
Forty outlet stores are now situated in a colonial-styled village where the brands are anything but old-fashioned. A stroll through this charming center reveals a who's who of today's most popular brands: Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Coach, J.Crew, Le Creuset, Michael Kors, Nautica, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle Outfitters, and more. Those shopping for young children can visit Carter's, Gymboree, OshKosh B'gosh, Polo Ralph Lauren Children and Stride Rite Keds Sperry.
The outlets are open Sun-Wed 10am-6pm, Thu-Sat 10am-9pm. For additional information, visit the website for Liberty Village Premium Outlets or call (908) 782-8550.
